Brazilian writer-director working in queer, sensory-driven cinema through analog practices. He is currently in post-production for his short film INGROWN and developing his first feature, AFTER THE PAIN, to be shot in 16mm. His films have screened internationally for over a decade. His latest short, SHEDDING, received over 20 awards, including Best Screenplay at the 57th Brasília Film Festival and an Honorable Mention at the Academy Award-qualifying Athens International Film + Video Festival. The film also screened on the opening night of XV Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife, Kleber Mendonça Filho's film festival, alongside the restored version of Carrie.

ELISA SOUZA

Elisa Souza is a Brazilian cinematographer working between Brazil and the United States. Her films have screened at Palm Springs, AFI Fest, and the São Paulo International Film Festival, and her commercial work spans clients such as Google, Amazon, Isdin, and Mr. Porter. She also works as a producer, with credits including What’s the Deal with Birds?, supported by Kodak, Panavision, and FotoKem, and Seed, both shot on 35mm. A graduate of the American Film Institute, she is a member of ABC, ICF⁺C, and DAFB.

VICTOR EKSTROM

Swedish-Brazilian producer and set designer focused on fostering a healthy and safe set environment. Produced Sony Music’s Black Music Month Brazil 2021 musical performance and worked on Paradise Burning, awarded Best Swedish Film at the 2024 Guldbagge Awards. Co-produced The Advent of Mary, selected for the Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival in India in 2021, and also produced films by Brazilian director Nicolau, including Shedding, an award-winning short film, and Ingrown, a 16mm film shot in Brasília. Currently developing the feature film After the Pain in Sweden.
